You are selling an in-house commercial gelato maker to Alex the gelato store owner. Let’s review: To sell to him, you must:
– Uncover implications of pain points (his pain points are waiting on shipments of signature and seasonal flavors).
– Uncover implications of your solution (making gelato flavors in-house in under 24 hours).
– Ask for the sale!
When the owner tells you the special flavor he has planned, you’ve won and you can hang up.
Remember what flavor the customer says he wants to make when he gets his new machine! You need this information to finish the course.
If you don’t catch the flavor name the first time he says it, you can always ask him again. (And no, he won’t tell it to you until you sell 🙂 )
